View the finished product of a natural gas Navien CH 240 ASME high efficiency forced hot water heating and domestic hot water combination boiler. The two combination boilers in the video were the result of an oil to gas boiler conversion project for a customer in Dorchester, MA. Although we did not utilize the National Grid rebate program for this installation, the cost of the boiler and the installation was very reasonably priced.
Boiler Primary Loop Benefits
High efficiency condensing boilers installed with primary loop piping not only operate more efficiently, but can also reach set temperatures in the heat loop much quicker. Reaching the set temperature faster will most certainly save money on fuel cost, as it reduces the length of time the boiler needs to be on for. The other benefit of a modulating condensing boiler is the low fire mode when the system reaches the set temperature.
Efficiency and Rebate
This boiler operates at greater than 95% AFUE efficiency rating, and qualifies for a $1,200 rebate. This boiler installation is side wall vented and can save the average home owner anywhere from 20%-40% on your current combined annual heating and water heating fuel costs. Many of our customers have enjoyed the higher end of the savings curve. Call Mr. Pipes Plumbing and Heating at 1-617-459-1771 to learn about the savings benefits and rebates associated with installing a high efficiency boiler home heating system.
