Tankless water heaters also called instantaneous or on demand water heaters, provide a constant source of steady domestic hot water when fixtures like showers or faucets require hot water. They save energy by turning on only when they are needed and by modulating. Tankless hot water heaters have on average 20yrs life span, 10-15yr warranties, and a compact space saving design that allows flexibility wherever installed even indoor or outdoor convenience. Newer models from Rheem can produce upwards of 9 gallons per minute (gpm) of constant hot water, more than enough for the average single family home, condo, or apartment. Some models can be installed in tandem for homes with higher hot water demands. Commercial versions are also available from most manufacturers. Newer models will turn on at very low flow rates for those times when all you need is a little warm water for shaving or brushing your teeth. The Rheem 95DV low flow feature solves this pesky issue that older tankless water heaters did not address.
